Can i flash LOS 16 from another variant on the D852 (is still on 15.1)

Lineage is barebones, is missing most of features that AOSPE has, also D852 is not supported by LOS 16, only 15.1 builds. So yes there are some differences there.

It says it cant verify the file, says is a beta rom and that i should sign in with a Xiomi beta account in order to use the file. Phone is on 8.1.0 / Miui 10.3.3.0 I put the phone airplane mode hoping the phone would skip any verification but then got another message asking me turn wifi on in...

Any of you guys tried to run antutu benchmark in this ROM? Always crash when is loading the coastline 3D test scene. I tried both 7.2.2 and latest 7.2.3 of Antutu with the same outcome.

It worked like a charm. Pixel with grayed ut Oem unlock option. I bought second hand so i have no idea if it was from Verizon, i guess so. I was about t have a mental breakdown, than you so much for sharing this method. Phone was on Pie September 2018 build btw.

How do you have those temps, are u using thermal paste and/or copper tape? My phone idles at 55 and reaches 70-75 lighting fast and then of course thermal throttles, i barely get 40K on antutu. Im running LOS 15.1 right now.

Face unlock is working for you guys? I set up everything, scanned my face like 7 times but the phone does nothing in lockscreen, not even attempts to unlock. is this a known issue?

No, you won't lose anything, is called dirty flash. If for some reason you and up in a boot loop after updating the ROM (very weird but it happens) then yes, youll have to full wipe and therefore lose everything.
