Post TouchOSC for Android 3.1 XOOM??

Hey Witblitz your probably best just trying out the TouchOSC Bridge it's pretty straight forward to get working, just a case of connecting your phone to the same network as your pc/laptop, and running the bridge, load up TochOSC on your phone then go into the Midi Bridge setting and select your...

Hey dude Happy New Year, sorry I've not gotten back sooner but it's been a mad one :D I found the faders, buttons so on in PD but I'm yet to try make my own one using them, been looking at Hexler's simple-midi.pd as an example, I will get it :) As for the trigger pads on my Novation the Notes...

Generally I use the Patch generator then edit the patch to suit, but I don't really know PD that well just learning as I edit, if you know how to how to add faders and so on so that it looks like how it is in TouchOSC and the Editor but in PD that would be cool, I just really need to know what...

Post TouchOSC for Android 3.1 XOOM??

I get that it takes time to code and test on the many Android builds and phones, but I thought the whole concept for Android OS is to be open source as much as possible, shared data and all that. You'd think that with the amount of people on the Hexler forum offering to help develop and test...

Post TouchOSC for Android 3.1 XOOM??

Totally know what you mean, I've been reading these post's too on Hexler and feeling really sorry for those who can't get custom layouts, tho I did find this thread through Google after little searching. And was not gonna risk the Dev changing things again, but have kept original backup copies...

You have to root you phone first otherwise you can't use file explorer to get to the 'app_touchosc_layouts' folder, then do all this.

The only way atm that I know to get custom layouts is to revert back to version 1.1 and use the one of the the previous tutorials mentioned in this thread but doing that you not have multitouch and the other new bits.

Nice one! Sounds great, can you release any details yet? I decided to update TouchOSC to 1.2 and have a play about with the multitouch, got 1.1 backed up so could always revert back if I want. Been roaming about in the root of my phone but having limited knowledge there's only so much I can...

Post TouchOSC for Android 3.1 XOOM??

AH Cheers for this, I hadn't noticed that Hexler had updated, and glad I saw this post before I did realise and updated it, I'm still on version 1.1.1 and will probably stick with it until custom layouts are supported. I can live without the new stuff for now tho multi touch would be nice. I...
