until now i had the Sensation XE.
and now in the One i am missing some basic things that were so great before !
1. weather widget. was so cool before.
2. calendar widget. used to be full screen, now 4X1 only
3. Mail - i have multiple accounts. each had different color.
its still the same in...
be carefull !
one they cancel an order for a CC and name/address, they will cancel subsequent purchases too.
but if you call and confirm your details over the phone, one of the canceled orders might come to life... like it did for me.
got 2 phones instead of 1
question about warranty:
the "features" tab doesnt work on the product page
http://shopamerica.htc.com/cell-phones/productdetail.htm?prId=41599#
if you look at the source of the page, it states that there is 1 year warranty.
can someone point me to any source of information that clearly...
those idiots also shipped me a cancelled order !
one order was cancelled due to problems with the CC.
so i called and placed another one over the phone.
now i see both shipped.
the one ordered via the web also charged for overnight , while that over the phone - wasnt charged for overnight...
still picking.
everyday at midnight, the date moves forward by 1 day.
if you try to order now , you see:
HTC One® Developer Edition
Out of Stock - Next Shipment Available to ship: %%etaDat
(the %%etaDat is what appears on their website)
ordered saturday 20/4
up to 2 minutes ago said: picking on 22/4 delivery on the 23/4 .
now that midnight passed, it automatically changed to picking on 23/4 delivery on 24/4
i used static ips in my home network.
only changing the router to work with DHCP and the same on the sensation xe seems to solve this problem.
i just started the DHCP at xx.xx.xx.230 and all my other computers in the lan which use a static ip, continue to use their static definition
i've just installe the ics update on my sensation 4.0
never rooted my phone.
i used to use WIFI STATIC. removed it.
my router uses static IP.
i've configured everything properly.
the device connects to the router, but no internet connection.
i can browse to the router's administration page...
happened to me too. 4 days after purchase.
dont know why.
sent it back to HTC in Hong Kong. they confirmed that LCD should be replaced, but was out of stock.
managed to get a new one from CSL instead, and gave them the old one after HTC repaied it.
