Although, I have noticed that if you are using Viper4Android, then you have to change it back to permissive, or else V4A does not seem to work.

I'm pretty sure the Uber app uses the Google Maps framework, which might be missing if you don't have gapps installed.

I just used it yesterday. Worked fine for me. I have pure nexus running with EX kernel.

Unfroze all frozen apps. Uninstalled exposed. Then unrooted. Then tried to take update. No dice. It said device suspected of rooting. Then I flashed unrooted 10g. Then tried to update. Still said device suspected of rooting. What are my options here? I am currently on unrooted 10g. Can I...

Made a noticeable difference for me. This was a frequent issue for me, but after a couple of days with these build.prop settings, it has definitely improved, although the problem has not been completely nixed, these settings are a definite improvement. The knock-on taps work the first time...

Until you get the updated 4.4.2 version, you can achieve the same result using Xposed framework + GravityBox module. Or, there is the Quick boot app in the Play Store. QuickBoot does not have the same UX as the mod, but Xposed + GravityBox is the same UX. sent from my hammerhead-442
