I think you had it right for booting into fastboot. On previous devices you would be able to see if the boot loader was unlocked in fastboot. And of course if it was unlocked, root access is typically easy. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk 2

Same setup for me except max is at 1512. After it settled for a bit getting amazing battery life and less "freeze ups"..... Don't really know what to call them but every once in awhile tapatalk will freeze and if i wait a few seconds it will go back to normal. Thanks for the awesome work...
