If the phone is already is sim unlocked, will it stay sim unlocked?

As a nexus user, I'm not entirely sure if this is relevant, however, I wanted to know does the version of bootloader, radio, and etc. make a difference if I wanted to flash a rom, such as LineageOS on my wife's phone? Do roms flash these? or do I need to flash a factory image before hand?

Trying to get it to work, image seems off though. Has anyone tried and gotten a good experience out of it?

This! It's like it's not fully utilizing the USB-c. Why have it if from what it seems is only a USB 2.0 connection with a type c connector. If it's not the 3.1 standard to me it's a bust. Maybe an update will change some things. If not I'll be considering nexus. Sent from my A0001 using XDA...

I luckily don't have a problem, or the guts to help with the theory. I did however figure it was hardware issue. Had similar issues with nexus 7 (2013) that many people believed to be a grounding issue, although I'm not sure where it may be. Sent from my A0001 using XDA Free mobile app

I know the op said that a unlocked bootloader is necessary, is there any way to do this with a locked bootloader? Have a N7 with a usb that will only charge, but no data transfer to computer so I can't adb or fastboot. Sent from my A0001 using XDA Free mobile app
