If you have trouble getting TB to recognize root even after you grant it perms, just go to Titanium Backup's app settings and delete all data and cache. Next time you start Titanium it should have no trouble detecting root. Same goes for any other app.

You can roll back to 7.0 btw. I did just that prior to installing this snappy wonderful rom (thanks a lot again). I went back to 7.0 DBT from the official 8.1 DBT by flashing 7.0 T580XXS4BRI1 DBT through odin. (tried another variant, didn't work) Anyway here's a mega.nz mirror if anyone wants it.
