thx. I ran the update.. no issues so far but my audio dropouts were intermittent. i'll hold off on rooting then.

The update says if fixes a bluetooth audio dropout issue. Can anyone verify that this actually does that? I have been fighting this issue since I got it in April. BTW, thanks for the rooting info! If this fixes my audio, I'll consider it.

The update IS possible OTA. It does not show up in KIES for some reason. A couple of things before you do this. Be aware that once you have the MJB bootloader that comes with the 4.3 update, you cannot go back to anything lower without bricking the phone. Plenty of articles here about it...
