This recovery is fully compatible with RR-P by AugustinDev, "factory as vendor" stands for "/factory partition mounted as /vendor partition, without renaming anything" AFAIK. RedWolf can't support RR-P because it searches for a /vendor partition instead of the /factory one , you can flash latest...

It's a pleasure to be see an update of this lovely mod by you ? May I know if the AI engine will have a backup/restore function? It would be useful in case of ROM changes, especially for migrations which don't a Major Android version change.

Yes it is, BTW if I remember correctly, I've worked around that by booting either RedWolf either TWRP, flashing a LOS/AOSP-based Oreo ROM and flashing RedWolf by recovery.
