Just as a side note regarding Ethernet over OTG cable. Some apps (like the Play Store) won't connect unless you are using WiFi or mobile connection. It's not the Shield's fault, just the app when it enumerates the network connectivity. So far I only found the Play Store to ignore the network...

Big thanks for this! For whatever reason the previous naked driver version worked on my work computer or maybe it did pickup my TF201 drivers but that was on Windows 7 64bit. I have a development laptop with XP 32 bits and I couldn't get it to connect via adb. But this drivers work! Awesome...

Can't post links yet but Unity engine games and live wallpapers prevents the issue from happening. I use the "Andromeda Free Live Wallpaper" that uses the Unity engine. SkyCastle3D Unity demo brings it up too, but once it only woke up the GPU but not the CPU.

Not sure if this has been brought up but when the Shield goes to sleep clock rate drops by almost half on the factory kernel both on the CPU and the GPU. Could this issue be due to that as well? Unity engine games and live wallpapers seem to restore it to full speed.
