Post [ROM] [7.1.2] Mik-el Android for Takee 1

Here I am. Here's a recap. 1) Kernel Source. I made a Repository on Github. The starting point is a kernel for BQ Aquaris E5FHD, which I forked. As you know, I found a developer that offered their help. I sent to her the config.gz file from the Luckas and Valdjocker ROMs, she said the Luckas...

Post [2019] New Rom for Ace, is anyone interested?

@cambr1an I can't believe that to test this ROM you have bought an Ace too. It's incredible, many thanks :D I hope the ROM has satisfied you. -GUIDE UPDATE?- By the way, I should still update my guide on GitHub "How to backport and Develop for Android 2.3 in 2021", I backed up some Android...

Post [ROM] [7.1.2] Mik-el Android for Takee 1

Hi @zdomjus sorry but I forgot about your IMEI question, here I am. If I'm not wrong the easiest way to recreate the IMEI is by using the MobileUncleTools app that requires root. (You should find the link for the apk in the TWRP posts of this thread too). I lost IMEI on one of my Takee but I...

Post [ROM] [7.1.2] Mik-el Android for Takee 1

ROM 2.0.1 - Updated Download (20 april 2021) Hey, if you have already downloaded the last 2.0.1 ROM, maybe you should download something again! The 2 optional installers I made for the ROM ( SuperSU and Google apps) seem not working for me, but... -DISCLAIMER- you should consider that a few days...

Post [ROM] [7.1.2] Mik-el Android for Takee 1

Wow! The Takee 1 community continues to evolve, at this point we all are hardware hackers too :D Yeah on telegram I also posted a photo of the batteries that @io2345 and I adapted for the phone. I also have photos showing the process, but I haven't posted them yet, if anyone is interested just...

Post [ROM] [7.1.2] Mik-el Android for Takee 1

Ok thanks @io2345 ! Now that I can run the Gapps Installer I made, I can get the error from TWRP and fix the updater-script file according to it. (I won't re-upload a new ROM just for that, I'll update the latest link :) )

@YuriRM the video is still online, but you need a 4pda account to watch it :) the video could be re-uploaded on YouTube by me or Dimonikod (but I'll need a confirmation from him)

Thanks for the clarification io2345. Yes you were right to reiterate that "Magisk-Hide" can't be used on both the 2 boot.img files. This is a message I posted some time ago on my Galaxy Ace Rom thread, sorry for the copy-paste: << I use that file host for many reasons: it does not waste my...

INSTRUCTIONS for ROM 2.0.1 Many thanks for the instructions you just provided to the other users @io2345 ! @io2345 has helped me with the boot.img part too! io2345, I think that the fully unrooted boot.img you just uploaded is the one I've already replaced inside the ROM. (the magisk patched...

Post [ROM] [7.1.2] Mik-el Android for Takee 1

Mik-el Android 2.0.1 for Takee 1 released! What's new for this release: ➡️ROM comes unrooted ➡️root and superSU installation are now optional ➡️Magisk 22 installation is now optional ➡️"Magisk hide" doesn't support 3.4.67 kernels so home banking apps will still detect root, as long I don't make...

Thank you guys! @Didgeridoohan @edici @pndwal Yes, actually the Rom is an Android 7 Rom but it runs on an older kernel, 3.4.67 (so KitKat). The guy who made this kernel before me doesn't want to publish the code for some reason, so I should make a new kernel and apply patches / add backports...

    The updater script contained these lines that installed superSU: package_extract_dir("supersu", "/tmp/install/bin/supersu"); run_program("/sbin/busybox", "unzip", "/tmp/install/bin/supersu/supersu.zip", "META-INF/com/google/android/*", "-d", "/tmp/install/bin/supersu")...

Do you know if the tool to unpack/repack the boot.img during the Rom porting process could have done something that now generates problems when we try to patch it? Should we try to unpack/repack the bootimg with a different tool?

I'm the guy who made the Rom for the EStar Takee 1. @io2345 is helping me cause I can't work on the Rom at the moment. As @io2345 said, I ported the Estar Takee 1 Rom from the RidonOS Micromaxx A311 Rom. At this point think that the Micromaxx developer ported his rom from an Iris Lava x8...
