    ok did that. (wipedata/factory reset->wipe cache partition). still have alliance-safestrap etc on the phone. sim card still giving weird messages.

    Yep. so Sim card A which I got after buying the phone was working good. I went to Canada and used same sim card on international plan, went back to US and suddenly phone loses mobile connection and has no service as soon as I cross US border. went to Verizon for sim card B, sim card B does not...

    Pulled battery out and sim. No service fix. If I turn phone on with sim card out, it will say "no sim card". back sim card back in, no net work connection....It is set to CDMA+LTE. No, I have not flashed a radio file.
