do you guys think if its possible to use samsung's own smart switch backup to backup the whole s7 (which i think includes the encrypted /data partition) and then restore from smart switch after rooting to preserve the data?

on newer devices it works without root i know this thread may a bit old but to help others searching for this out there, if u are not rooted you may consider sideloading the app. although Im using a S7 Edge on marshmallow it works like a charm without root! it probably doesnt require root on...

does removing that line in build.prop work? can someone test pls
