    DLNA/UPnP is your only choice. It is an International standard for playing back media. AirPlay is apple only with some ILLEGAL ports in the android marketplace

    It seems like they got Wi-Fi usage right in WP8. If Wi-Fi is connected it will go over Wi-Fi unless someone were to code an application to specifically use just the phone modem (haven't seen that).

    The attached drivers are signed and work for Windows 8. Let me know if these work with the DVP or not. They are actually Lenovo Drivers but it is a similar chipset.

    It sounds like the internal SD card crapped out. You could try my unbrick method but it sounds like it isnt being detected. Check in device manager to see if the USB device is being detected.

    Mine does that from time to time. Firmly press vol up and down for a few seconds and then you should be fine.

    Yeah the DVP was designed to replace Blackberries so it is no supprise that the phone is locked down fairly hard.
