Ok found the problem. I was using SD card as a internal memory option. Seems that TWRP than cant find the ROM file to update. I then reverted back to using SD card as portable memory and now everything is OK.

I know this is a stupid question, but once you have CM 13 installed does the update to new versions work on device (settings and update (as now in CM 12)) or do you have to download it to the phone from web and flash it manually
