Thread Easy gui based way to backup, copy files, etc -QTADB

A nice app I found called QTADB that is basically a gui for ADB. It has a very easy to use interface for drag and drop type file management , backups, logcat viewer, shell, screenshot, and more. Working well with my nook and win 7 x64 and so much easier than console commands. Also has linux...

Post Technical details about nook HD+ charging

To add to that, make sure you put a load on the battery if you are measuring the voltage of the battery disconnected. Something like a single 330 ohm resistor would be good. Bad lithium batteries sometimes will appear charged until you place the load on it then it falls to 2 or lower volts...

This is the only problem I have with my nook HD+, but I am getting close to finding the problem. I have managed to get dmesg to print out when the problem is occurring, and that isn't easy when it wants to start doing random presses ! Every time this problem occurs I see the same thing...

Post External USB storage working with XBMC

All that is needed is a script to run in the background and look for the event. The firetv already detects the drive correctly on connection, look in dmesg and you will see something like below when I plugged in a usb hard drive. sb 4-1: new high-speed USB device number 3 using msm_hsusb_host...

Post When does the fire TV turn off?

Don't be concerned with the fire TV staying on when not in use, your tv uses more in standby power mode than the fire tv uses in full power mode. The box is made very well, all that weight comes from cast aluminum, the whole case is one big heat sink.

Post Nook HD+ - Not charging Not Powering On

The battery not charging and tablet appearing dead other than the led is a common problem with tablets, not just the nook. In the tablet they use a chip that has a controller integrated to charge lithium ion batteries. The controller has limits that have to fall into a preset range or the...

Post Download KitKat CM11 4.4.2 for Nook HD+ Here

It really has me scratching my head because I installed the exact same version on another stock unit fresh out of the box and it doesn't have the issue either. Both using the exact same steps. The one with the problem is also new but from a different manufacturing date. Are there different...
