same thing, Kies locked at 4% for 1 hour and 30' ... I haven't yet disconnected the phone from usb. Phone says "Downloading... Do not turn off target!!" What can i do? :( EDIT: fortunately i have been able to access the download mode and ODIN saved me. Kies really sucks.
