I recently bought this phone and couldn't find LTE option in Settings> More Networks> Mobile Networks.
Below are the steps which solved the problem for me
1. Downgrade firmware to G900FDXXU1ANF6
2. Root via towelroot v1
3. Change with a root explorer of your choice (e.g. Root Explorer...
So I was able to root and change persist.radio.lteon from false to true and now have the option for lte available.
But still can't connect to LTE.
another thing I have found out is that in odin mode product name is SM-G900MD whereas in about phone it's SM-G900FD. could this be the problem? FD...
I have searched on this forum but couldn't find a definitive answer, has anybody successfully used it on a 4g network. Mine doesn't show the option of lte in networks, only gsm and wcdma are visible. Will rooting the phone provide any allow in removing this limitation?
