So, I've had an issue with all the Sense4 ICS ROMs I've tried so far. Namely, that my SD card and Internal storage never show as mounted. Am I missing something?

I'm not seeing the media volume, flashlight, all settings, or GPS button either. Where did you get the transparency mod from?

I'm far from a n00b. The calendar reminder would flash up then disappear before I could dismiss it. I'm willing to give it another shot, because I'm just a good sport like that.

Had an issue with this ROM yesterday. It wouldn't let me dismiss a Calendar notification. Then, for some reason, something was maxing out my CPU and killing my battery. Had to switch back to BAMF. Looked nice though!

For those getting a "WAITING FOR DEVICE" error on NilsP's root method, turn off USB Debugging, let it find the device, then turn it back on. Worked like a charm, and now I have permanent root!

I think it would depend on price and availability. If you can get it cheap, and options like the Thunderbolt or Incredible 2 aren't available for whatever reason, it's still a good phone.

From a hardware perspective, I'd like a dual core processor, 4.3"+ screen, 4G LTE, Wireless-N, at least a gig of RAM, and a battery that doesn't require absurd amounts of tweaking or a custom ROM to last a full day. From a software perspective, either Sense or Stock. I wouldn't buy a phone...

I'll be honest: I upgrade once a year, and frankly I'm just not gonna get all up in arms because HTC and Verizon don't want to devote the resources to porting Gingerbread to the Incredible. If it's really that big a deal, there's always AOSP and CM.
