I feel ya I have the C605 as well no update yet.

If the mobile business is only being affected due to the US concern linked to 5G networking, why doesn't Huawei split the businesses apart as independent companies to avoid these issues. Obviously this wouldn't be ideal but it would be better than losing their mobile position.

For pictures in pro mode you can enable raw file and it will restrict you to only optical which will force the 5x zoom lens but you can't use any digital zooming

The longer shutter speed can be achieved with night mode on tripod.
