Like you, I think this is the last oportunity for our galaxy, for this an last effort ;)... In really, I think it´s too many work and we don´t know if this will be effective enough to be worth it. Yourself. Regards Kasper_h

I promise this is my last post about this topic ... As I see it, within my knowledge in operating systems, not in Android, but do not think it's very different, we have three problems in one. The small size of the RAM, the small size of the OneNAND (especially for those who have a slower...

Clear as water. Thanks for your explanations. Could not there be a middle ground where both the system and the RW operations were in the OneNAND? I think that applications once converted to dalvik no sense to remain in the OneNAND, since these running from the dalvik cache, not?. With having a...

I do not wanna look like a smartass, but on kk has anyone tried to put the system in the OneNAND and all applications in moviNAND? I think that little good to put applications in the fast partition if the system is a "bottleneck". Which is tedious in kk is the slow moving through the system and...

First, thanks for replying. I do not want to be heavy, and of course you know much more than I do, but I do not quite understand. The components are slow, yes, but are the same for ICS that for KK. KK has more functions and is therefore normal that the yield is somewhat lower, but there is a...

The truth is that many features are lost against kk, but the speed with kk makes it insufferable. We must be realistic, our i9000 has reached the limit, and it is much better to lose those features and retrieve the great performance of this ROM. Something I do not quite understand is that if...

It's possible install from kk? I have nandroid backup of kk, wipe cache, dalvik, data and system, but when I go to install the ROM... Error: zip file verification (twice download the ROM) and if I ignore the verification, other error too. Thanks in advance. Enviado desde mi GT-I9000 mediante...

    Post [ROM][KK][4.4.4][03/07/14] CyanAOSP KK4.4 v4.0.0

If I have this ROM, after I make a nandroid backup, and restore a GB nandroid with lagfix (CF-Root-ext4-v1.3-Addon.apk), does lagfix be a problem to return to this CyanOASP from nandroid? In clean install has always been recommended to disable lagfix GB, but with nandroid not know if there can...

    Post [KK 4.4.4][ROM]Mackay ROM 4.9.13 (11-Oct-2014)

Off topic: Under usual conditions, any OS loses performance when the system integrates SWAP and the system uses it. The only reason to have SWAP on android would be to avoid closing background apps, at the cost of lag. The speed difference between the RAM and memory (internal or external) is too...

To your question, I'm afraid that the problem is the big difference between RAM speed and internal memory or SD. SWAP from a size "to big" would a bottleneck in this case.
