Verified that this works for me. If you read ahead and placed the SuperSu zip on your SD card BEFOREhand, you can even skip one of the reboots.

This is great. Just one question for clarification: Users have reported not being able to see their External microSD's in TWRP. Is this still the case, or did the patch to TWRP alleviate this issue?

Available in NYC Couldn't get it shipped but I was able to place an order for in-store pickup. Looks like many places in New York City have them if you're from around there.

Only thing I've been able to do is put the SIM card in it, put it in airplane mode immediately so it doesn't try to connect, and install a ROM not based on Blur.

How did you update to ICS? Over the air update? I ask because if you updated it via FXZ and Fastboot mode with RSD Lite, then what I'm about to suggest is moot. But if you took the OTA update, then it makes more sense. I'm betting that either your computer doesn't have the right Moto drivers on...

To answer my own question, it looks like my Show Recents performance--just anecdotal, eyeballing, no science behind it--is a bit smoother than .232 and .232-based ROMs. It's nowhere near as instantaneous as JB, but it's certainly enough to be noticeable.

I just verified that following the original post through step 11, and merely replacing the GB FXZ with the ICS FXZ, works. The difference is that when your phone reboots after the RSD Lite flash, the update installer screen will appear as ICS finishes installing--but in my experience, it didn't...
