Great job. I hope you post a link to the download for people who need it. My previous phone was a Note 4 where it was working fine (Android 5.1). I did a Google backup on it, and then when I set up my Pixel 2 XL, I restored from the Note 4 backup and it is working fine on my Pixel 2 XL.

I really hope the red color will be available in the U.S. after the phone officially is for sale. The iPhone red color is beautiful but wasn't available until later.

You are right. Much easier on an iPhone to transfer to a new iPhone. Android sucks when getting a new phone although Google tried to make it a little easier in the Pixel.

The price is ridiculous. If there is even any improvement in performance over my rooted Note 4, it is not worth the price even if I had preordered through Target and the $300 in gift cards.
