Hi everyone! I just wanted to let you know that Voice Input (STT) on my Gear S2 is now working again. I didn't do anything at all. I guess it was, in fact, a server-side issue that has now been resolved. Let's know if it is working for you too. Thanks to everyone for your contribution!

I also contacted Samsung support online and in person, and they told me it's possibly permissions-related (on the watch) and can only be fixed by an upcoming firmware update. However, their final definitive answer is still pending. They promised to contact me within a couple of days.

OK, you didn't find it because the apk name doesn't include the word "car", it's com.sec.android.automotive.drivelink That's one reason why ES Explorer is much better. It is not simply a file browser or manager. The APP function is ES is a complete App management solution.

You can use an app like ES File Explorer File Manager which you can use to back up any app. There are a lot of similar apps but this one provides better names for the backed up apks (App name+vesion).
