This is for non rooted devices on lollipop. To flash you need root and a recovery. This is a very very simple process and your device stays completely stock. I've accepted every update, followed the instructions in the OP and hotspot gets enabled. Hope this answered the question. Enjoy...

I've downloaded twice, checks good. Using TWRP not KT TWRP and each time it's hung on boot screen. It's a new refurbished S4 on newest update and confirmed on NG2. I've done all the tricks wipe, fix permissions, wipe and clean install again. I've done four clean installs with both downloads...

Update... I completed all the steps and ended with the before listed errors... It appears it tried to keep my data and some of that data was for apps that were searching for root... I did a factory reset and it booted fine.... I haven't encountered a problem yet and work the phone pretty hard...

Same here.. I was good for 8 hours.. Went to wake phone and locked... Rebooted.. Froze on boot after optimization of apps... Wiped and fixed permissions and still never got to go past lock screen... Back on 3.15 cause I need phone for work.. I'll play with it on my days off. I did not change...

Sounds like a bad download... It was doing the same thing to me... I also experienced it locking up when it auto rotated... Wipes and permission fixes didn't help but only made it worse as I too was getting stuck on boot up and initial lockscreen... Just remember.... WithTPR nothing is...
