without knowing all details, yes it looks like changes made in rootfs to "libhardware_legacy_ti.so" and "bcm4325-libhardware_legacy.so" which is wifi??? but I think kernel has also been updated "board-htcraphael-gps.c", "board-htcblackstone.c", "board-htctopaz.c" etc...and maybe similar need to...
