Just an update to the above for anyone want to know about getting the tv connection to work: bought the desktop dock from ebay/amazon (OEM) about 25 bucks & a cheap min hdmi cable to work. 1 thing to notice though, charging cable to tab plus must be plug in to work or no signal will generate...

but comparing tab plus & tab 7.0, tab 7 P1000 can work with RCA cable & schematically, they look the same...so is it the software which defers the plus from working? I have ordered the hdmi dock as well, but it be glad for everyone if we can make this happens... if the P1000 can work RCA...

have got the RCA cable for galaxy P1000...it did not work for plus..but i can open up the connector & resolder the wiring based on the 30 pin schematic.. anyone know for RCA connection..what should the pin connection be for audio & video...if it works out..then we can have RCA cable which is...

so in conclusion, it never work? I was thinking of using OTG + USB to RCA cable rather than HDMI... I am using GT 7.0 plus see if someone can answer? is the OTG P1000 USB working on the plus model? thks!

anyupdate after getting the plus to work on the HDMI dock? I believe it should not have issues. On the otherhand, I want to get the RCA cables to work...but i am not sure how it can be done... using OTG connection with female USB outlet & getting a USB to RCA for connection.I hope it is...
