    You're right I should, but I never faced this limitation on my prior phones (nexus/samsung/moto), so I didn't ! But I'm still confident there is a solution !

    Kind of security patch then ? It's unconventional that you need to check within LG bridge for that, should be pushed ! Anyway, what stands out is that unlocked and rooted doesn't affect the upgrade, right ? I'm not in a hurry, I've flashed, rooted, tuned, bricked and recovered so many phones...

    Yep, picked up the file from codefire and all is ok now. I don't know why, but the OP direct link downloads a 7.89 KB file when called from my phone's Chrome ... Thx Diego

    You mean dirty flash ? No factory reset ? Only wipe cache ? Did you have te reroot ?
