the msm tool is giving me the same scatter error. I've successfully installed orange fox on my phone, but i have yet to check wether it can flash the official ozip or not. Interestingly orange for is showing an error - unable to find partition to path '/system'. any idea why?

So, the msm tool needs a login id and password to work, which i don't have. And even the shady cracked old versions which is available on the net is not working with this ofp file. I'm stuck here.

It is an OFP file which can be flashed through MSM flash tool or Download tool. I have managed to get the same file from another source but the download tool has virus and it and gives some kind of scatter error. I'm still in the office so haven't checked it properly. I'm downloading this...

For that I need stock recovery and I don't have it! I have the ozip update file but not the stock recovery. If you can provide me that it will be really helpful!!

What were you doing when it happened?

Press the volume down button while turning it on, it will boot into recovery. Then flash vbmeta.img to remove that error screen. I hope you have TWRP. Did you wipe vendor partition!? There is a fastboot stock version of colorOS available here. Look for it. Hopefully you'll get your device...

I'm not able to get it to boot to system. I flashed GSI rom and it was working but then I tried installing magisk and my device started bootlooping. Now I'm flashing the images via fastboot but I'm still faceing bootloops. It reboots to TWRP. Could you please guide me to get my phone working...

You can correct status bar cropping by enabling developer options and selecting cutout.

Yep, it is indeed 4mp front and 12mp back camera resolution.
