Ok that thought never occurred to me but I will not go back to miui 9 for the time being but if I do in the future I will definitely apply this method to check the volte. Thanks for sharing this idea

So I tried and guess what it didn't work. Volte is confirmed to be working only in marshmallow miui8 and as we try to jump to nougat miui9 volte just doesn't work. So i flashed back to marshmallow and then did ota update ( minor 350mb update) which is still Android 6 and volte still works now I...

By clean flashing do u mean fastboot method or update.zip recovery method..... U see I'm confused as there are many forms of flashing so it fastboot method with miflash right!!. Ok I will try to download this fastboot stable rom for miui 9.... let's see how it goes. Thanks a lot... Damn this...
