No, I did not root befere installing. After installing it had the SU app, but my apps could not get root access, so I had to root the phone after that. Everything is fine after that.

I am pretty sure you can enable smart dialing in dialerOne settings...

Just flashed the last one, and when I reboot I immediately get the message "camera has stopped". Any suggestions? Edit: everything works fine after a reboot.

I am currently using Omar's ROM. I love the battery life on my RAZR i. I haven't tried the other one yet anyway. I have only had the phone for a week and a half. Would love to know if someone has compared the battery life on both ROMs. You should try them both I'd say to see which one you prefer.

I would love to see a dialer like the one on xperia ray on my razr i. I loved it much more.

To combine them both together would make searching for things much faster. The XT890 forum is not one of the most active one's anyway.

Which one's the best browser depends entirely on you! I like Opera the most, but you might have different preferences (speed, interface), so try them and see for yourself. I'd say Chrome, Opera mobile and Dolphin are the best in most cases.

It does work! Thank you. I just had to make a few adjustments, because my Xperia ray ROM was ODEXED and this thingie did not work from the first try.

Basically the dialer is the same like before the Ray got an update to ICS. It just searches in the numbers when I start typing the digits, but not in the contact's names.
