    Post New Nook Glowlight Plus

What have you tried? If I recall correctly what needs to be tapped rapidly to get to it has changed at some point, you may be reading old directions. If you're on a recent version you tap on the icon at the top of the Software/About page that looks like a Nook stylized n in front of an open...

    Post New Nook Glowlight Plus

Did eventually update, not sure if it was having the files on the card or if it just eventually saw the server version. There was another update this morning that I'm not seeing listed anywhere, mine at least doesn't properly sleep when immediately after an update is applied until you dismiss...

The actual update, it downloaded fine and I pushed the update.zip to /sdcard/NOOK/update.zip, still at 45.2.22/45.2.58

Hasn't worked for me, but I have made some progress I think. I guess I clicked the option to use internal OTA server at some point as there was a blank ota_server.conf file in the root of the sdcard folder, deleting that changed the error message from being unable to connect to no update...

Is there a way to manually force the update similar to how you could download the update file and place it in a certain place on the storage to have it flash it on the old Nooks? Every time I hit the button to check for updates it says the check failed and to try again later

    Post rotation issues

I had the same problem, the app aj_vogtman posted sort of worked for me, it worked for manual rotation but the automatic setting still didn't work. Have you recently changed anything in /system? Never figured out exactly what caused that for me, but I think it started around when I was removing...

Post [Rooted OR Stock] Update Procedure For Lollipop 5.0 (OC1)

It isn't actually a link. There was a problem with the method, and a solution is currently being looked into. "http://problem wait few more hours"

Post [Rooted OR Stock] Update Procedure For Lollipop 5.0 (OC1)

The Xposed alpha does not work on Touchwiz based ROMs on Samsung phones currently, causing it to fail to completely boot (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811). This was tested on this one (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59668138&postcount=37) showing the same...

Post [Rooted OR Stock] Update Procedure For Lollipop 5.0 (OC1)

You could do that, but I'd recommend against it as it's bootlooping Samsung phones, including ours according to another post in the thread, so I'd recommend against it.

Su binary is in /system and should survive a factory reset assuming you mean the wipe data option and not Odining the stock tars or something.

Not directly rootable, but it's possible to update to a prerooted version or flash back to a vulnerable version and take the prerooted route. http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-3-att/general/update-procedure-lollipop-5-0-oc1-t3063760

That's already been said, the current only method is downgrading to NC2, run a root exploit such as Towelroot, then use Safestrap to flash a prerooted later version

You're perfectly free to do so once either you're eligible for the OTA or the completely stock tars are posted, but keep in mind it's entirely possible that no exploit will ever be found to root directly

So even if you were already rooted you would need to do at least a partial downgrade to get Safestrap working again, and since you aren't a full downgrade will be required. Here is a link describing the process for 4.4.4, which is likely similar to the method for this...

    Post New Update is here...

To my knowledge there is no way to flash anything but 100% stock files in Odin on the AT&T Note 3, so like I said if you're not rooted already you'll almost certainly need to downgrade. If you're currently on one of the vulnerable versions of 4.4.2 no downgrade would be necessary, but would...
