Yes, you can only SAM PAWND and other similar ROMs ONLY if your bootloader is V3 or earlier.
Samsung has patched V4 and V5 already, so until another work around is found, we are stuck with no root..
You can try the safestrap (Bootstrap) thing if you are feeling brave...
CDMA is only for 3G. With 4G, Verizon is using LTE GSM (same with AT&T, T-Mobile).
Verizon LTE covers over 98% of their network, but there are still some remote places where there is only CDMA coverage.
Verizon is moving away from CDMA and it will be retired by 2018.
So as long as you don't...
There is also a .zip to remove the built-in SU too.

I think most people would prefer to have built-in SU than not, but calsurferpunk can do what he likes :)
I'm just grateful we can still get a LOS based ROM for the Quark!
I installed with a full wipe (including internal sdcard), using latest pico gapps.
No issues...
I also recently updated my bootloader to Mashmallow, but I doubt that's what makes mine bootup while some bootloop.
You mean the Deathly Auditor?? It's available in the Google Play Store.

Just installed the new 20170117 version for T800.
I noticed that now in Developer Options, there only "ADB only" and "Disabled" choices for Root Access. The "Apps and ADB" option disappeared. Now we don't have root for apps, unless you install SuperSU..
Also, now there is no su command. I don't...
Err.. I meant the /sdcard/Android directory... of course, the phone doesn't have a physical external SDcard..
And yes, of course you can switch to whatever ROM you like. I've been trying out the Nougart RR and CM14.1 (upgrading from CM13).
RR has many features I don't really need/care, so I...
You can only dirty flash if you are upgrading from an earlier MM RR Rom.
But since you are not, you'll have to do a full wipe (clean install) before going back to MM RR...
I also delete the Android directory in my SDCard as well...
I'm in the US, and I can manually download the update as well, but after the download progress reaches 100%, it says: "Unable to install update. The downloaded file is invalid. Try again later."
Anyone else experiencing this?
