It's working! I'm now running the updated version 2.8, and the app is running perfectly both with the latest Pershoot kernel and with the stock PvZ-friendly kernel. :D

I have the same question. Neither Adobe Reader, Documents to Go full version, or Quickoffice will show 2-page view, and to navigate 500-page books to do research I really need that capability. Hopefully someone has an answer!
