Thread [Q] Flashed zips don't stick, phone keeps resetting to how it was yesterday morning

So I've got an HTC One on T-Mo. The CM10.1 nightly build (8/1) I had installed worked fine for a while. Yesterday, it rebooted on its own a few times, and each time, everything I'd done since around 7 AM decided to undo itself. Texts I received went missing, apps un-updated, files on internal...

Yes, we'll all start working on that right away, even though the source isn't out yet.

Thread [Q] How to pick a phone?

I'm still a couple months away from my upgrade on Verizon, but my last two phones have been opposites as far as community support goes. My Incredible had all kinds of awesome stuff, while my Thunderbolt seems to stump devs as far as data on ICS (not blaming anyone, just really like being on the...

Post [WIP] The Nook Color Backpack....

Put it up on Kickstarter, maybe? If you can make it work with the Nook Tablet too, I don't think you'd have any problem getting the money.

Post Nook Color...Or Nook tablet? Which is better for hacking/rooting?

They're both good. The custom ROMs based on GB for the NC have been around longer and are more stable. The ROMs for the NT aren't as refined, but the device is faster. Depends on if you want fast or stable. You may be better served buying neither and getting an HP TouchPad on Craigslist. I just...

Post [Q] would you recommend this phone to me?

I wouldn't not recommend it. You can certainly do worse. If you tend to type one-handed or own pants with smaller pockets, it's not for you. On the other hand, the screen isn't bad, the 4G screams, the kick stand is more useful than you'd think, and it feels very solidly built. For $200, it's...

Post The HP Touchpad Fire sale MASTER Thread

I usually hold printed books with two hands, so that's no big deal. I'm just looking forward to having a keyboard my fingers can actually type on. My girlfriend gets the Nook, so everybody wins.

Post The HP Touchpad Fire sale MASTER Thread

I just ordered from the woot sale as well. I'm pretty psyched to see how much faster this thing is than my Nook Color.

Post What are the fastest LTE speeds you have seen on your Thunderbolt?

The best I've gotten is 8 down and 8 up, but I'm in a huge market where just about everyone has LTE on their phone.

Post Sticking with the Bolt, personal opinion!

I'm happy with my Thunderbolt for now. I got lucky and got it as a mid-contract upgrade on Craigslist - brand new for $200 and I'd only had my Incredible for a year. The build quality is the best part, in my mind. It feels indestructible.
