Yes, I am on the Verizon CSC from page 10 of that link. Works great. It unlocked everything for me aside from video calling. Video calling was greyed out (for me) until I played with the IMS settings. Now I have everything.

I agree. The only thing really bloating this thread is the same repeated questions over and over. I wanted to add for Verizon users, I was able to get native video calling available with v2.5 on my device with the shortcut master app/ims settings trick.

Doesn't matter. The root method is based on QL5 build and QK2 modem with 12/1 security patch, doesn't matter what you have prior to root. If you updated to the Jan security patch you may of screwed yourself permanently as far as rooting goes....

I agree with this. If directions are followed and the thread is actually read, there is not a single issue that I haven't faced in this thread and I have been able to get back to stock or root every single time.

I had no additional features available with the baked in CSC for Verizon on 2.5. I took the CSC from p10 of Lou's thread and changed the line mentioned to enable auto reset. So far, everything works great.

Why not worry about it and just replace the CSC file with the uploaded one on page 10? I can confirm it works great with 2.5

Doesn't appear Wifi Calling is available, but what is gained is worth that loss to me.

seandop, you can take the CSC file from the link that Lou shared, and use it for Verizon. Instead of the TMB folder it will be VZW folder. Every other instruction is the same. Thanks louforgiveno! Works!
