I've just unchecked the "notifications" box in the Assist app info, that solves it for me. If you don't care about it displaying the current profile in the status bar it'll fix ya fine

Alright so I used TiBU to removed Download Manager and Downloads... and now the Play Store doesn't crash, if I try to Download something it just hangs on "downloading" and never starts... I grabbed two APKs from this thread...

Hey all, I started futzing with Play Services and the Store and Search in an attempt to fix the nlpWakelock battery usage issue I'd been having on my Moto X, and I can't seem to get it all working again. I can launch the Play Store, but when I attempt to download an app (or update), it crashes...

I attempted to use this fix on my Moto X, but it seems that there isn't a "bluetooth.default.so" file in that lib/hw directory to replace. I tried replacing just the a2dp.default.so but then my phone wouldn't stream music to my car at all and it would reboot when I disabled BT. the saga...

Really interested in attempting this fix on my Moto X running rooted 4.2.2 but I've got a question... how does one change the permissions on files? That's the only step I don't understand..

I read as well that it seems to be a system-wide android thing, and while there seems to be a fix for Nexus devices I'm afraid to try them on the X... I'm just trying to connect to my car, it's got bluetooth built into the stereo and the DINC2 was great with it but now all the mids sound...

Thanks for being so on-it with this Dark, but after having to flash back to stock using RSD lite (and thus having to re-install all muh apps and yadda yadda ::sadface::) I think I'm just gonna root and wait for the FXZ to come out so perhaps we can do this a little more cleanly... does your fix...

Has anyone tried to re-record Touchless Control since updating? I can't seem to... I go to "record" and and it's clear the mic isn't listening and there's a notification in the bar for touchless control that says "finish training the phone to your voice to get started. Touch to resume training"...
