I just received my 1G/8G Std Edition with new firmware: 20140120.154604_V2.0 How do I go about rooting this, and also how do I install Google Play on this?

New firmware and updated rom I also have the same firmware Std edition TS. As per Loki (from last week's update), he will be providing new files/updates for this rom soon and removing the existing hold! Yipee!!!

I hear that sound too... like bird chirping (in whistle tone). 3-4 times in total of 5-6 minutes. But there was no notification at all. And I don't not have any other devices near it... so no NFC issue possible.
