Nice work GoLfWRC. I can confirm it works on stock 4.2.2 rom with Tablet UI and custom soft. keys. One small problem is I cant see the whole text of notification message but I guess it is a problem of tablet ui.

There it is at settings>google>search>search on google.com... check this option. It is also at Google app settings in Privacy & accounts Im on stock 4.1.2

I had the same problem as you. You should change the permissions of browserproviderproxy.odex and apk from rw-r--r-- to rw-rw-rw- and then rename them. After that change permissions back to rw-r--r--. I used ES Explorer and superuser also denied to ES explorer got superuser permissions. I...
