Post i-mate JASJAM on eBay for AU $125

You didn't get a bargain, but as long as you can repair that ear piece you got a good price. I paid $100 +postage 6 months ago for a JasJam via ebay, but I was picky and let about 20 go for a higher price before I finally got one. This is my 2nd JasJam - first is still mine and had a white...

Post Software to change notification settings automatically?

I was going to say Phoneweaver too. Lots of good options and worth the money. It can be scheduled, or work from your outlook status and can set many different options - backlight, ringtone, volume, etc, etc. Even run programs I think. Cheers, Oggy.

Post Importing CSV contacts directly into Windows Mobile device

I needed to do something similar and found this web page: http://manish.wordpress.com/2008/11/14/importing-contacts-to-windows-mobile-without-ms-outlook/ So here you rename your CSV file to whatever.CSC, zip the file and rename the zip to whatever.PIB. Then you can use the PIMBackup software to...

    Post [31Oct08] WM6.1 TOUCH Build20924 V27 from Dvha79_ddt [Basic & Full] NetCF3.5

I just bought a Herm100 for my wife since I'm happy with mine. Am testing ROMs and Black-Full is #2, it's survived the wife much better than the first ROM which was only there for 12 hours. In fact, this ROM lasted so long that she took a photo and I thought I'd share it with the forum...

Post Procedure (Sorry, I just don't want a brick)

I just thought I'd reply to this message because I'm about to flash a custom Rom to a new iMate Jasjam and that my user id is errily similar to yours ;) I've used a 2GB Micro SD card to flash my last ROM upgrade (thanks to CRCinAU) and it worked a treat. Cheers! Oggy.

Post Very slow writing speed on microSDHC card

Actually, Activesync can be fast. Activesync on an XP machine copying to my Herm100 is quite slow, a card reader is much better, but the same Activesync copied to the latest HTC (don't know the model) slidey keyboard phone's internal memory in comparatively lightening speed. So is there...

    Post hermes answering machine

I saw some software called "iSecretary" that claims to do that. It was some time ago, probably around the Windows Mobile 5 era. Should work on 6, but don't know how well. Cheers, Oggy.

Post What a STRANGE problem with my buttons and LEDs! Ideas?

Hello and welcome to a new phone! ;) I have a similar problem, mine sometimes gets a white screen and the D-pad buttons rarely work for long. It is quite possibly a loose ribbon cable. There is actually a thread here about this issue - just do a search for 'white screen' or similar and you'll...

    Post microSDHC on Tytn

I don't think there is one "Official" Wm6 Rom - different phone companies offer different ROMs. But with the right drivers built into that WM6 ROM, it will support SDHC cards. Keep searching, I'm sure you'll find the right thread, I know I've read about details of the specific driver on here...

Post help for Extended rom imate Jasjam

That's an unusual first post. I don't think it's possible with the original ROM, I could be wrong though. From memory, it requires something like Olipro's boot loader ???? I'm sure either someone more knowledgable can tell you, or someone more generous can do a search for you, or you could...

    Post QR code reader

Man, do a google search, there's heaps of very easy to find info. It is an interesting topic though and I wouldn't have been interested if Rudegar hadn't pointed out that it's a 2D barcode. I think someone gave me a 2D barcode on a business card around 1995. I'm keen to see if it's the same...

Post Iphone Photo Application for Hermes

That would probably be HTC Album - it uses one finger gestures to rotate, zoom & browse photos. It's OK but I find the gestures for zoom to be too tricky, it normally rotates instead. And unlike the iPhone, you can't use two fingers, just one touch at a time. Cheers! Oggy.

    Post IMEI Blacklisted!

In Australia, we have a "Telecommunications Ombudsman" who we can escalate matters to after exhausting options with our phone company. Is there something like that for you? It does sound unfair - good luck with it. Oggy.
