upgraded last night and works smooth. it bugs on the engadget website. otherwise, just had to download some gApps and i was back running. you guys are legends.

did the update. aio root method. locked bootloader. update worked. had bump with the wifi. tried to turn it on a few times. it eventually connected and i got a strong connection. and i still have root. hope its takes care of the screen lock. i like this phone.

i have the wireless tether app i used connecting to my xoom. man is it nice. on the way back from D.C., it worked beautifully. skype connected (not able to test video) and audio worked clear. tried the oovoo chat, but it was slow. couldn't handle the load i guess.

i just rooted my photon today. unknowingly, i did the update first. when i did the root, i used http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1250697 instructions with the one click root. it worked. verified root.
