I had the same problem - flashed CM7 #30 over non-CM rom & wifi wouldn't work - tried flashing pershoot & wifi errored immediately - flashed back to CM6, then CM7 - didn't even need the pershoot kernel then - wifi now works.

uses minutes just like on the tmo tower (eg free nights, weekends, etc.) unless you're grandfathered on the unlimited uma monthly service - maybe tmo will bring back a monthly service.

no, it won't be deducted from your minutes if you're already grandfathered & paying the monthly fee for unlimited uma/hotspot minutes (that's directly from the tmo techs' wifi calling training doc)
