I'm calling you on this one, I work with glass every day, and i'm around an engineering shop daily, so there's plenty of potential for my glass to scratch. It's held up fine for 2 years no protector. Glass on the Mohs scale is 5.5 Gorilla glass is 6.8 Diamond is 10.
