    Post Dual screen eReader!

Nice, I checked it out and works. I do really hope the Kindle app is updated for dual screen. It only allows column view in landscape mode and even when using wide screen the Kindle app doesn't allow columns because it is still in portrait orientation.

Post Rotate LG home to landscape in LG8x

I haven't found a way to use a different launcher as the default launcher on the second screen, or a way to rotate the LG home. Hopefully the Android 10 update adds some extra features, there. I'd love to be able to use the Microsoft Launcher beta which supports landscape, or Nova.

Post lg g8x sprint unlocked on tmobile volte and cross flash with USA unlocked variant

I have a Sprint unlocked version and use it with Google Fi on T-Mobile towers and I cannot use VoLTE or wifi calling. I'm not sure about flashing it, I'd guess so, but haven't tried...

Post Would You Buy a M5 10.8 Today?

Not sure if you still need advice, but I recently bought an 8" M5 to replace a Chuwi Hi9 Pro that I accidentally cracked the screen on. I also have a GalaxyTab S3 but really prefer the form factor of an 8". I've been really pleased with my M5 and would recommend it, especially if you can catch...

Post Chuwi hi9 Pro unlock, root, TWRP, etc.

Turns out I just hadn't installed the Magisk Manager apk, so there was no option to grant superuser when a root request was made by an app. So, I am good, root verified working! Interestingly, Android still says my drive is encrypted, but I can see the internal storage size in TWRP and...

Post Chuwi hi9 Pro unlock, root, TWRP, etc.

I am a little stuck, I also have the newer red button, I was able to unlock the bootloader and flash twrp but also had the touch screen issues. So, I used a usbc hub with mouse and a flash drive, I used wipe to format the userdata partition and then flashed the encryption remover zip and Magisk...

    Post Tab S3 worth it ? Get a Tab S2 instead ? Wifi-Bugs ?

I just got my s3, I wouldn't pay $600 for it, but I got mine open box in perfect condition from Best Buy for only $380. Definitely worth it at that price.

    Post How is the wifi?

Wi-Fi on mine is balls out fast. Range is similar to my LG G6, which is also pretty good. No stability issues.

    Post [SM-T825/T820] Re-Activate adoptable storage

Thanks, worked great for me. The reported storage is off, though, is that normal?

Thread Boot to black screen white cursor after POST

I'm trying to install Remix OS 64bit for the first time on my Apollo Lake N3450 tablet. Secure boot is off. I ran the installer, selected the image, selected my drive and allocation size, it applied bootloader settings and I clicked reboot in the setup app. My PC rebooted and immediately after...

Post Galaxy S7 Edge VR Gear is Terrible, no details no resolution bad bad

You need to look with your head more than your eyes. All VR lenses are sharper in the middle of the lens, some worse than others. It isn't too bad when you get used to it. Sent from my SM-G935P using XDA-Developers mobile app

Post Recommendation for media/gaming settop post-Ouya?

I'm keeping an eye on the Razer Forge as well. I considered the Fire TV, but it is under-spec'd now. I'll keep my Ouya on a spare TV or something, still works great with Plex, sideloaded WatchESPN, and rooting/sideloading Google Play opened it up a bit more too.

Post [COMPARISON] So You've Decided On The Droid Turbo, Kevlar Vs Ballistic Nylon?

I don't store media on my phone so capacity wasn't a big deal, but the nylon just felt tacky and grip was a little slick. I did like the look better, though, in pics at least. The MGF feels better in my hand and at least the V logo is fairly small and only on the back.
