Ota I had same issue I used Verizons Firmware repair then I did the update thru Verizons Firmware updater on my pc then work perfect, I kept getting update fail with the dead Android then I used this method and worked, I was rooted so I unrooted first after Uninstalling busybox.

taking ota lollipop i removed busy box, rebooted then removed SUPERU , rebooted then tried to take ota but it failed, so i used verizons software utility program restored nk2 then reflashed both ota'S with out a problem.originally used towelroot by flashing back to ncg installing towelroot then...

unroot remove custom on boot so whats is the proper way to unroot and get rid of custom on boot,I used used towelroot by flashing ngc then reflashing nk2, I check knox and it wasnt tripped ,im running factory rom,also am i able to take the lollipop ota when it is avalible ?

I rooted my s5 by changing to ngc kernel then replacing back with nk2 didn't trip Knox but have "custom" and a padlock on boot screen any way of removing that on boot and what's easiest way to unroot, running Factory rom phone is just rooted

I was planning on rooting my S5 but wanted to be sure if I root I will still be able to get ota's,I know I will loose root once I take a ota but just want to make sure wont loose that feature . And is there any other functions that I might loose once I root

network type whats the best network setting to use im always in my local area right now its set to global,does it make a difference? justed notice on my pulldown it says "roaming indicator off" but sometimes it will say "VERIZON" . I never have any sevice issues just not sure what setting is normal

Root Finally got Root didn't realize had to open up developer options and turn Root on, didn't see that in the Op working great now well was working good before minus Root issue

lose root I've flashed this rom 3 times and ever time I lose root ,never had this problem with any 4.3 or 4.4 roms can't seem to get root on slim but if I restore nandroid or flash liquid I get root back any suggestions this is my first time flashing slim but I've flashed about every other rom...

root issue Flashed 4.1 and lost root, super su binaries wouldn't install , CWM was useless but I could boot into recovery ended up restoring my nandroid with no issues ,any suggestions tried various ways to get root back with no luck ,iv never lost root before so I'm sure I missed something...

nandroid This is a great interface, my only issue is I can't restore my nandroids ,gives me mismatch md5. I had the nandroids made before I flashed philz touch not sure if that's the issue.anyone Have that issue
