I'm back in Canada from France with a Samsung i900 and try to find a solution to get the american 3G network working on this set. I've read a few articles along with yours that says the frequencies umts 850 and 1900 could possibly be activated. If you find a solution on this, can you keep me in touch? I keep looking on my side and let you know as well.
