When you flash TWRP, directly boot into recovery mode, without booting into system.

Just download the latest for S8 on the official TWRP site, then put your phone in download mode and flash with latest Odin.

Ah okay, wasn't aware of that! I did manage to get it working though, so I'll see whether I'll run into issues, but seems to work fine with me

I'd recommend using this app, as it allows you to create your own flashable Magisk module (outputs in a flashable .zip which you can flash using Magisk Manager or TWRP). You can find this option in the in-app settings. Modded cam, system remains untouched.

The baseband partition is probably corrupted or in any case fails to do its job correctly. You can simply flash the most recent baseband for your region (by using only the CP field in Odin, for flashing only the CP_G950F file), and it should work. If it still doesn't recognize your SIM-card and...

Same problem here. Worse even, no app seems to recognize Superuser access. Edit: I see some workarounds have been posted, disregard this post

If I recall correctly, wifi calling and VoLTE is only possible with the CSC from your home network. So flash the zip again, but now choose your own CSC. Don't know if notification bar data consumption is also tied to this restriction. You sure you enabled it through the android settings menu?

Question has already been asked and answered. Please read before asking. Edit: Better yet, you were the one asking the same question before. Why ask the same question twice when the dev already answered you...?

I wouldn't even know why the gallery would even need those permissions. My fully functioning gallery also doesn't have them or ask for them, and no problems whatsoever.

In aroma I've never chosen S Planner, as I don't like samsungs apps, so I think this problem is not related to a certain agenda-app, but solely with the permissions of the gallery app.

Did you also reflash the addons package? That was the only thing I did and it helped.

Same here, it needed permission to Agenda without providing the options to do so. Reflashed the addons aroma package (with exactly the same options) and it was fixed, indeed without any reason why it should. Sent from my SM-G925F using XDA Labs

After having tested the Unofficial XtreStoLite v1 for a couple of days, I can say that I'm very happy with the results. Together with arter's kernel v22.0 it runs like a charm, really fast and smooth while keeping the battery drain at a minimum (I also run both Greenify and Amplify to this...
