Unlimited tethering... Do I have to switch to the tethering APN each time I want to tether and not have it counted against my tethering allotmant? I tried just tethering via WiFi using the default APN and it shows up on my usage against my tethering allotmant. Thanks in advance!

I mentioned a few pages back that I noticed T-Mobile no longer shows tethering activity with DomPop ROMs. So far on v5.3 for me. Although, I've only used wifi tethering and not tried USB tethering.

you can update to 5.3 without having to do a clean install. updates are usually fine unless OP says otherwise.

I was having the same issue as described on a SM-T705 LTE. The only time it booted was when I chose the stock kernel. It did boot with or without xposed selected. I did a full wipe between each flash to make sure nothing was carried over from previous attempts. Only other issue was root. I'll...

I just noticed the issue too. I don't use my phone for calls very often so it took a bit to affect me. Tried a reboot and made a phone call just fine, but incoming force closes the phone app. Mine happens without any other apps opened. Back to 5.3 for now. Great ROM otherwise.

Unless T-Mobile got wise and blocked the hack built into this ROM (or rather the add-on in the OP), you use the built-in tethering found in settings. Just change the APN to IPv4/IPv6 for APN Protocol so you don't have to select the Tethering APN every time you initiate tethering.

I think I'm seeing things... There's a wifi-calling icon in my status bar and its claims its connected and ready for calls. Could this be real? Does this mean VoLTE and NFC works too now? :victory:

Flashing the stock Kernel helped, but now the kernel is no longer permissive. I did a fresh install. Even went as far as using Odin to stock/rerooted/recovery/reflash ROM. Still had the bootloop so I flashed to stock kernel. Booted fine but lost permissive.
