    Post Selfie quality

Front camera is not bad, it's horrible. even compared to galaxy A series. but since I barely use it, this is not a big deal for me. having a non-curved amoled screen with headphone jack and s-pen is something that I've been waiting for since note 5. So I accept the shortcomings of this phone...

    Post question about notification LED

thanks for the answers. Edit: that's the proximity sensor as you said which lights up during calls, but I don't know why it was lighting up when there was no app running and the screen was off. odd behavior! perhaps accidental touch detection was acting incorrectly.

    Thread question about notification LED

So I bought this phone yesterday, stock and no third party app. did a factory reset inserted the simcard and recieved a sms. when screen was off, a green small notification was blinking on left upper part of screen (something like what third party apps like aodnotify do but it was better). I was...

Thread Better multi tasking on official pie

Ok to make it short and clear, after reading other posts I realize that most tab s3 users are not familiar with "samsung good lock". Good lock is a bunch of modules to add useful options to samsung devices but unfortunately they're only available in some regions you can use a free app called...

Post tab s3 android pie (9.0) general discussion

Dex is a selling point for Tab s4 and tab s6 and has nothing to do with android version. It's highly unlikely Samsung brings it to a previous version. I'm just hoping for a better performance and updated openGL and vulkan drivers. Not to mention many regions didn't get any security update since...

    Post Update Android pie

I flashed RETIN on RETEU and lost wifi. tried downgrade but on Oreo even sim cards and IMEI doesn't work finally after reflashing RETIN pie (about 3 times in a row) and doing a factory reset each time, everything is fine.

Post Background processes killing. Is it problematic for you?

this is a well known issue of oneplus and when you report it, you either get ignored, or get a response like this: "oh my god, I can't believe you are having a problem. please send us a log and we will fix it in 2 hours. meanwhile, are you sure you are using a phone and not a sandwich maker?"...

    Post Update Android pie

by "native dark mode in some parts" I mean dark quick settings, pop ups... and it's available on Pie. not systemwide dark mode of course :) about the LOS16 I tried that and as expected, mods had many issues. so waiting for official pie seems the better choice to me... btw the leaks about Z4...

    Post Update Android pie

I really hope that's the case, but based on my personal experience, I doubt it... That's a good point, "updates are not usually critical". But let's not forget they are one of the criteria showing a company's customer support. Pie brings features like native dark mode in some part, better...
