Hi, The only apk that i have is mtccontrolinfo.apk and it doesnt show any additional info. The issue is with the canbus decoder. They dont support all the canbus id.

You are correct. I have just checked and it seems that i can update even though i have my phone rooted. Have you checked for virus?

Yes that is your solution that helped me with the virus. But, there is always a "but". As you say freezing this apk wont do much so i am thinking that there must be something else that starts it again, like a service. So even if i deleted this apk i still got asked to install another apk...
